This is used to remove the sleeve, detent balls and spring from the clutch shaft.
 
All you do is align the slots in the tool end with the small detent balls. Push the tool on the large detent bal to release pressure from the two small detent balls and sleeve. WHile holding pressure on the tool, slide the sleeve off the clutch shaft. Slowley release pressure on the tool and remove the tool and sleeve from the geacase. Then remove the detent balls and spring from the gearcase. Then remove the detent balls and spring from the clutch shaft.
