This is the updated core plugs for all Gen2 66 degree 150 thru 200hp outboards. Original core plugs are a thin piece of  aluminum which gets holes then causes water leaks. This causes all kind of powerhead issues and can even seize the powerhead up if left to leak.  10 of the large plugs are found under the powerhead and needs to be removed. 1 of the large plugs is mounted under the flyweel. The 4 smaller plugs are located on the port and starboard side of the powerhead. 
 
Kit contains 11 large screw in plugs, 4 smaller screw in plugs, the drill and tap for the larger plugs and the tap for the smaller plugs. You need to tap threads into the block to accept these new plugs. 
 
Also includes the powerhead mounting oring and seal kit along with the loctite 592 to install onto the threads. 
 
It is strongly recommended to purchase the service manual 5010056 which is available on our web store as a digital download. It normally takes between 7 to 10 hours to complete the job start to finish.
